Buckwheat Pancakes in Bulk
What you’ll need:
- 1 Cup buckwheat flour
- 4 Cups unbleached flour
- 1 Cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 Cup ground flaxseeds
- 1 Cup cornmeal
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
What you do:
- Add the flours, flaxseeds, cornmeal, baking powder and salt into a very large bowl.
- Using a large spoon, stir the ingredients together thoroughly.
- Spoon the mix into a large jar.
- Add a label on the front of the jar that says:
Add 1 cup of blueberries, bananas or chocolate chips if desired.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Pour 1/2 cup of mixture in a pan in small circles.
Cook the pancakes for 2 or 3 minutes on each side (Watch for the bubbles, then flip).
Enjoy with warmed maple syrup.
